It does the job correctly and on top of that, it was really inexpensive. I needed to split my line to a fax and this works perfectly!

GREAT!! Handy for connecting my wireless phone and a corded phone at the same outlet! A must have for my garage phone setup and my home office setup!! Gives me corded phones around the house for when the power goes out at my house....which is pretty often!!

Why am I even writting a review for this? It does what it has to do, works fine and it takes less than a minute to install.

For those of you who don't know what a splitter does, it basically splits one phone jack into two so instead of just plugging one phone, you get to plug in two! Or maybe a phone and a fax machine, a phone and a computer modem or a phone and a Sega Dreamcast! the possibilities are endless!

The release button feels a little cheap, it will probably break if you mess with it too much, but why would you? Other than that, everything is fine.

Just in case you were wondering, I use it to plug in the phone on one side and the DVR on the other, yeah I want to see who's calling me on the TV screen, that's all!
