John William at his best.
Rating:
Good soundtrack. Loved tracks 13 and 17 (Remembering Childhood and Farewell Neverland, I think). Good sound quality. Nostalgic music.
Magical
Rating:
Im sorry. This is the best soundtrack I've ever listened to, and I get angry with anyone who finds any negative things to say about it.
First of all John Williams if awesome. But, this piece is unique. No other one of his works can capture fantasy elements like this one. In fact no other one can capture emotion like this one either.
This soundtrack is perfectly subtle. If you ever found John Williams too "Marchy", this is the piece for you. I can't find words to describe what it is.
I can tell you what it is not. It is not cheezy. It is not cliche. It is not ordinary.
John Williams and Capt. Hook-- Awesome!
Rating:
John Williams is a master.
How does he manage to write music for so many different kinds of movies, and still come up with creative, original themes that swirl with color and texture?
The pirates' theme is hilarious--perfect for the imaginary island of Neverland. You can just picture the swaggering, bumbling pirates tripping all over the place and cheering for their sinister leader, Captain Jas. Hook.
The movie is great, too, but it wouldn't be half as good without the creative genius of John Williams behind all the music.

Who doesn't love the story of Peter Pan?
Who doesn't love a somewhat random re-telling of the story with Robin Williams?
Who doesn't quote this movie at least once a year?
The soundtrack is great because it takes you back to the world of Neverland and the first time you ever saw the film yourself. I bought it as a XMAS present for someone who loved the film, but strangely had never bought the soundtrack. I think it's a great add to any movie soundtrack collection and does well if you ever need to add to your library for soundtrack movies games at family home evenings or something.
